Up North Salon, May 2009 – August 2009
l Receptionist: I took calls and made appointments, I was very flexible, able to work any hours and make appointments. I was responsible for getting all of the information needed from the customers and giving that to my employer either through the time book or in person.
Wilderness Trails Ranch, May 2010 – August 2012
l At this guest ranch I did many different things from working in the kitchen; doing dishes, prep cooking, waitressing, or bussing. To working maintenance, I worked on the cabins, the boats, the washing machines, plumbing and everything that was needed to be done. I was a very fast learner at what I had to do.
What I plan to get out of this experience
l I plan to get much more experience in auto mechanics and be able to get a job in doing so.
l I am proud to say that I plan to go to be the first in my family to finish college after high school. I want to get my diesel certificate and after working in that field for a while I hope to open my own shop one day.
Activities
l During the school time I volunteer at the local after school program at Bayfield Elementary school.
l I Help many people with any maintenance I can. I have helped neighbors out fixing their fixtures or remodeling their houses. I have also helped many people with their cars; from tune ups to replacing their ball joints I have been able to do them all with some help and teaching.
Skills
I am a very fast learner and able to learn new things everyday
I have some background experience working on not only cars but also diesel trucks.
